Our teaching approach

SMALL CLASSES

Limited students per class, our French lessons offer a serene and caring environment. Our teachers have the necessary and indispensable time to dedicate to each student. At the same time, the students work together, communicate and exchange ideas.

PERSONALISED TEACHING

Each student is unique, with his or her own personality, strengths, and pace of learning. Our lessons are therefore adapted and personalized to meet the needs of each student.

COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH

Throughout the class, students are constantly invited to express themselves in French. Students are immersed in a French-speaking environment. All resources: audio, video, songs, games and texts are in French. Instruction is also given in French to begin with.

EVENTS FOR PRACTICING FRENCH

Throughout the year, students at the school are invited to take part in cultural and/or social events that both introduce them to French culture and encourage them to speak and read in French. These events reinforce students’ involvement in their learning and create a real community within our school.

REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS

Students are encouraged to talk through dramatizations of everyday life. Each activity is designed by our teachers to create a language exchange situation with each student. Students practice listening, speaking, naming, naming, presenting, describing, explaining, reformulating and memorizing while discovering useful vocabulary.

A TRANSPARENT PROGRESSION

Our French lessons take into account the specificities and objectives of each student by setting personal goals and creating individualized learning paths.
